Five stops from our farms to your port
Fresh produce only keeps its quality if it never warms up. This is how we protect every load, from the moment it is picked to the moment the reefer doors close.
-
01
Farm harvest
We pick in the cool early-morning hours and move crates into shade straight away. With Egypt's summer field temperatures at 35–45 °C, shielding produce from the heat in those first minutes is the most important step against early breakdown.
-
02
Packhouse & pre-cooling
Produce goes straight to our packhouse in the 10th of Ramadan Industrial Zone. Forced-air cooling or hydro-cooling pulls the core temperature down fast, halting field respiration within hours of harvest, before grading and packing.
-
03
Cold storage hub
Packed pallets move into grade-A multi-temperature cold rooms, each held at the set point its product needs: from −0.5 °C for grapes to 13 °C for mangoes and sweet potatoes, and −18 °C for frozen lines.
-
04
Refrigerated inland transport
Insulated reefer trucks with continuous power units carry the pallets to port or airport. Real-time telematics track the air temperature inside the cargo hold for the whole journey.
-
05
Port & airport export terminals
Cargo clears customs and phytosanitary inspection at Alexandria, Damietta or the Cairo International Airport cargo terminal, waiting in cold-storage gates until it is loaded into marine reefers or onto the aircraft.
Temperature and humidity by product
The set points we hold from pre-cooling to the reefer. Shelf life assumes an unbroken cold chain.
Paperwork and labelling that travel with every load
Temperature labelling (NFSA)
Under Egypt's National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) rules, every export carton of temperature-sensitive food carries a clear storage instruction, for example “KEEP CHILLED – STORE BETWEEN 0 °C AND 4 °C” or “KEEP FROZEN – STORE AT OR BELOW −18 °C”.
Digital temperature logs at handover
At the customs handover we provide the complete digital temperature log for the shipment, showing the cold chain was never broken between our cold rooms and the port.
